Tanya Carter
Chief People Officer, East London NHS Foundation Trust
Tanya has Human Resource management experience spanning over 20 years within a number of public sector organisations. A significant period of which has been spent in middle and senior management positions, managing multi-disciplinary teams.
Tanya has worked in a primary care trust and three acute care NHS trusts, as well as working in two London local authorities and further education colleges. Her experience also includes lecturing on undergraduate programmes and working as a management consultant with PriceWaterhouseCooper (PwC) and has a passion for equality, diversity, inclusion and wellbeing.
Hony Premlal
Chair, Eldon Housing Association
Hony Premlal is a passionate, inspirational social housing professional with significant experience at Director and Non-Exec level. Currently working as a Director of Customer, Homes and Tenancy Services at Bournemouth Churches HA (BCHA). She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) and The Institute of Leadership and Management. (ILM).
Hony is a Board member of Eldon Housing Association, Epsom and Ewell Citizens Advice and Women in Social Housing – London(WISH). She has a keen interest in customer engagement and is passionate about ensuring customers’ voices are placed at the heart of decision-making processes.
Sandy Sohal
Trustee, Leadership 2025
Sandy has held senior roles in customer service in the transport and social housing sectors. She’s experienced in leading change, transforming services, and modernising operations. Sandy has successfully designed and launched new operational models to reduce costs, increase income, and enhance customer experience.
Her career highlights include improvements in service standards, development of customer strategies, and expertise in contact centre operations and crisis management. She’s skilled in continuous improvement and the initiation of new contracts and operations.
Sandy values equity, diversity, and inclusion, and is a collaborative leader. She’s demonstrated success in boosting employee engagement and fostering a sense of belonging. She is a Trustee at Leadership 2025 and Brook and an Associate Consultant with Inclusive Employers, working on projects aimed at promoting inclusion across a range of clients.
Dewbien Plummer
Housing Solutions Director, Capita
Dewbien Plummer (she/her) is a dedicated housing professional with over 20 years of experience in leasehold management, asset management, housing strategy, and digital transformation, having worked with social housing providers and now serving as Housing Solutions Director at Capita. As a black, neurodiverse, bi/pansexual woman with lived experience in social housing, Dewbien is committed to improving the lives of those with multiple identities. She is driven by the call for candor and public responsibility post-Grenfell and strives to be a part of the wider community response to the challenge. Serving as the female-identifying Co-Chair of HouseProud, a network for LGBTQ+ staff working in social housing. Dewbien is dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in the housing sector.
