Stella Kanu leads Shakespeare’s Globe, the Thames-side cultural landmark dedicated to producing innovative Shakespeare productions and educational programmes for contemporary audiences.
With 30 years’ theatre experience, she previously served as Executive Director at LIFT (London International Festival of Theatre), where she produced acclaimed works including the Golden Lion-winning Climate-Opera ‘Sun & Sea’ and ‘The Second Woman’ starring Ruth Wilson. She founded The Pivotal Place, coaching creative leaders, and held executive roles at Ovalhouse (now Brixton House) and Soundwave Cumbria.
Her strategic influence spans the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Theatre and Arts Council London Area as the Mayor’s representative. She serves on various boards including Rose Bruford drama school and has chaired multiple arts organisations. An alumna of Welsh, Middlesex and Oxford Brookes universities, Stella holds numerous distinctions including being named among the Alfred Fagon Award Black Theatre Champions (2022) and The Stage 100 power list (2024-25

Kate Davies was the CEO of Notting Hill Genesis until 2022 and now works for a range of private sector organisations providing services to the sector through her company Buena.Ltd.

David has worked in the industry since 1993 and is passionate about creating high performing cultures where individuals are equipped to succeed. Initially building his career in finance, he held a number of senior finance posts & wider executive roles in large national RPs. He now works in a non-executive capacity within the industry & across the third sector. These include international charities & multi billion pound pension schemes.
He is a Chartered Certified Accountant and holds an MBA from Warwick Business School
