Florence Eshalomi

MP for Vauxhall 

In 2006, Florence was elected onto Lambeth Council representing Brixton Hill ward. During her time at Lambeth, she held a number of roles including Chair of Housing Scrutiny, Deputy Cabinet Member and Cabinet Member for Culture.

In 2007 she set up the post of Lambeth Youth Mayor and has continued to provide on-going mentorship and work experience opportunities to Lambeth young people.

She was the London Council’s representative on the Arts Council, London Region Council from 2011 – 2018 where she pushed for investment to help expand the reach of arts and culture with London’s BAME communities.

In 2016, Florence was elected onto the London Assembly representing the Lambeth & Southwark constituencies. As an Assembly Member (AM) she has focused her work on securing funding for voluntary and community groups providing opportunities for young people, pushing for improved transport investment, improved services for young girls and women exploited by gangs and violence and protecting workers rights by challenging Uber.

In 2019, she was elected as the Labour MP for Vauxhall.

Fiona Fletcher-Smith

In her time at L&Q Fiona has spearheaded our 5.1billion development programme, led our expansion into the Midlands and North West, and delivered change programmes to improve both the efficiency and diversity of our Development and Sales function.

Prior to joining L&Q, Fiona was the Executive Director for Development, Enterprise and Environment at the Greater London Authority (GLA).

As part of the senior management team for the GLA, she was responsible for overseeing the delivery and implementation of key strategies such as the London Plan, the Economic Development Strategy, transport, environment and climate change and in overseeing the operation of the Mayor’s powers in relation to significant planning applications in the capital.

Anthony Horrigan

Chief Executive, Spktral

Anthony is CEO and co-founder of Spktral – the pay gap specialists. Having left a computing science degree early to pursue his dreams, Anthony served for 25 years as a navigator and then a Fighter Pilot in the Royal Air Force. In his spare time, when not upside down, he developed software tools for the RAF, one of which won him an award. On leaving the military, Anthony got the chance to get involved with the emerging Gender Pay Gap reporting process and he lept at the chance. Spktral are passionate about the use of technology to empower organisations to create equal futures by giving them the tools to make better people decisions with their data.

Lara Oyedele

Non-Executive Director, Housing 21

Lara Oyedele is a social entrepreneur, property developer and campaigner for affordable housing. 

Lara is passionate about eliminating homelessness and promoting diversity in leadership. Originally trained as journalist, she has almost 30 years professional experience working in housing associations, local authorities, private sector management companies and homelessness charities. A former Housing Association CEO, Lara was the founding Chair of, and creative force behind, BMENational, the coalition which promotes the role of ethnic minority housing associations in England. 

Lara has served on the Board of Southern Housing Group as well as the housing regulator’s equality advisory board. She is currently chair of homelessness charity, Hope Housing (Bradford Ltd) and a Non- Exec Director on the Board of Housing 21. Lara runs the training company Black on Board and is developing an affordable housing company. Lara is an alumni of London School of Economics and Henley Business School.
